Introducing Mr. Joe Dorhauer,
Our latest addition to the growing Zeller Family. We’re so excited to announce another industry expert has joined our Sales team! Mr. Joe Dorhauer joined our Inside Sales team on February 1st.
Industry Experience
He started his career in the Industrial Motor industry in 1987 with Baldor Electric.
In the 25 years there he worked in the warehouse, inside sales and outside sales with the many designs of the old District Office model. When Baldor/ABB ended that model, he found a new opportunity and worked a year and a half at Illinois Electric Works before going to Bodine Electric in Danville, where he has been last eight years.
Bodine served the upper and eastern Illinois as well as Western Indiana markets. Joe was still selling motors, controls and automation products. He brings a deep and extensive history in these products. We hope and expect that he’ll continue to do the same with Zeller.
Personal Life
After surviving raising his four kids and gaining two more when he married Laura, they have been blessed with 5 beautiful granddaughters. Their reward for not selling the kids to the circus! Joe’s youngest daughter is special needs and lives with he and his wife Laura. Laura and Joe met in 1986 and have been friends ever since. They were married in 2011 and she has been at his side though quite a lot in the last 12 years.
What was it about Zeller that made sense for you as your next step/to make a change? Zeller fits in my strengths with motors, gearboxes, and drives, but also gives me an opportunity to expand my product line knowledge. Also, the feeling of a team I got the day My family and I came in to meet with you was important to me.
What do you hope for most with the move to Zeller? I hope that I fit in and can be a valuable addition to the team .
